MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THE TECH
Established in 1990, Azura is the largest and oldest technology partner for the UK franchise sector. With origins as a bespoke software provider specialising in mobile workforce solutions, we’ve long since been exclusively focused on supporting franchisors and their networks.
Our franchise management software was first released in 2007. We’ve continually developed it, evolving with the changing needs of franchisors, and now work with more than 50 franchise networks.
Simon Pullum, our founder and Chairman, is well-known throughout the franchise sector and a regular at industry events. Under his leadership, Azura has thrived.
Simon strengthened the management in 2021 by bringing in Mark Scott, initially as Operations Director but now Managing Director to assist in the further development of the business. Prior to this role he spent 39 years at NatWest, 23 of them in their franchise team, including heading the team. He has extensive knowledge of the franchise sector and is also very well known.
In November 2021 we were acquired by Franchise Brands plc, a multi-brand franchisor. Their clear expertise and experience in successfully growing high-quality businesses has already helped us greatly since. We continue to be excited about building on our success as part of a larger, publicly quoted group.
We remain proud to be part of the thriving, close-knit franchise community and are passionate about helping franchisors and franchisees deliver the best possible results from their business.

A regular contributor at franchising’s biggest events, he’s grown Azura from a one-man band to the franchise technology firm it is today.
